Episode Overview
Shiraishi is taken hostage by the 7th, while Hijikata and Kiroranke make an unsuccessful attempt to save him. Meanwhile, Tsurumi reunites with his former comrade, Lt. General Arisaka, an innovative weapons creator who provides Nikaidō with a unique prosthetic leg capable of firing buckshot. Hijikata then introduces his team to Kiyohiro Suzukawa, a sly conman and tattooed inmate. In a clever scheme to free Shiraishi, Suzukawa assumes the identity of Shirosuke Inudō, the warden of Abashiri Prison.
