Episode Overview

Upon arriving in New Orleans with a herd of cattle, the Virginian encounters an enigmatic woman named Marie Valonne (Madlyn Rhue) and is instantly captivated. However, their moment is cut short when he faces an assault, and Marie vanishes. As he searches for her, he clashes with Johnny Madrid (Mark Richman), who has ties to corrupt officials. Even with the help of local detective Dan Bohannon (Skip Homeier), the Virginian struggles to uncover Marie's whereabouts and is left with only a photograph to remember her by.
