Episode Overview

A landslide obstructs the route necessary for transporting the Shiloh cattle to the rail line. The only other option involves crossing the land of Junius Antlow (Tom Tully), a fierce adversary of Judge Garth, who refuses to grant access. In response, the Judge enlists Big Jim Lafferty (Leo Gordon), the foreman of a group of Chinese laborers, to clear the blocked path. Among the workers is Kam Ho (Cely Carrillo), a girl disguised as a man, who finds herself falling for the Virginian, despite being betrothed to Chang (Kam Tong), another laborer. Antlow tries to thwart their efforts, leading to tragic consequences, including injuries and deaths among the workers, and creating tension between him, the Judge, and his own son, Chris (Tom Simcox).
