Episode Overview

In the town of Cobb's Run, Kansas, Randy Benton finds himself wrongfully accused of a $50,000 payroll heist while waiting for the Virginian. His claim that the revered but elderly marshal, Floyd Buckman, unwittingly let the thieves into the bank is ridiculed by the townspeople. Consequently, Randy faces a death sentence. Determined to clear his name, the Virginian sets out to find the real criminals and ultimately resorts to breaking Randy out of prison. Ultimately, it is the legendary lawman who holds the key to Randy's fate.
