The Virginian intervenes when he discovers a woman being assaulted in her hotel room, only to find out she’s an ex-girlfriend. Later, while they are performing on stage, the wagon loses a wheel in the desert, leaving them stranded as their pursuers close in. Despite the danger, she remains tight-lipped about the reasons behind the attack.
