Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993)

Episode Overview

In a desperate attempt to prevent a suicide, Superman and a man are simultaneously struck by lightning. Moments later, the man discovers he has gained superhuman strength and the ability to fly—essentially inheriting Superman's powers. Seizing the opportunity, he opts to become a superhero for profit, infuriating Superman. Meanwhile, Dr. Gretchen Kelly learns of this new threat and devises a scheme to recreate the lightning event, kidnapping Lois Lane to lure Superman into her trap.
