While the CSIs delve deeper into the mystery of the "Miniature Killer," Grissom and Sara's relationship is inadvertently revealed to their colleagues when she disappears amid the investigation. Although they ultimately apprehend the "Miniature Killer," the triumph is bittersweet, as a member of the CSI team tragically becomes the killer's last victim before justice is served.
