S02E03 Five Dock Retro
Episode Overview
Anne Potter has a passion for all things vintage, from fashion to cars and hairstyles. A decade ago, she and her husband Michael bought a charming 60s bungalow with a view of Sydney’s Five Dock. However, with their family growing and three energetic boys, space has become tight. To remedy this, they're demolishing the old house to construct a modern retro home featuring curved steel and glass walls, accented with colors inspired by Mondrian—a stark contrast to their more traditional neighbors. As an interior designer, Anne is eager to dive into this project, but after a ten-year hiatus as a stay-at-home mom, managing a construction project alongside her busy family life poses a significant challenge. Will she be able to juggle it all while handling school runs, grocery shopping, and dinner prep?
