Episode Overview
Title: The Top 20 Perform Plot: Following five intense two-hour audition episodes, the competition has narrowed down to the final 20 contestants who will compete for the coveted title and a grand prize of $250,000 in the fourth season of "So You Think You Can Dance?" After a whirlwind introduction showcasing brief glimpses of each finalist's talents, host Cat Deeley explained the competition format: the top 20 will be paired into 10 couples, randomly selecting their dance styles each week. Viewers will vote for their favorites, and on Thursdays, the three couples with the fewest votes will perform solos before the judges eliminate one male and one female dancer. Guest judge Dan Karaty joined Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe for the season’s kickoff. Let the dance begin!
