Louis Theroux's Weird Weekends (1998)

Episode Overview

Louis heads to California, the epicenter of physical perfection, to explore the extreme world of bodybuilding. After training with top amateur Guy Grundy, he quickly discovers that he may not be suited for the life of a muscle-bound competitor. Determined to find his niche in the bodybuilding scene, he shifts gears. Next, Theroux visits Charles Peeple's farm in Connecticut, which Peeple has turned into a glamorous retreat for female bodybuilders. During his stay, Theroux lands a role in a film about female muscle being shot at the farm.
