S02E08 Argyll and the West
Episode Overview
Michael Angus, a talented architect and educator, along with celebrated Glasgow interior designer Anna Campbell Jones and prominent lifestyle blogger Kate Spiers, continue their quest to find Scotland’s Home of the Year. This leg of their journey takes them to three unique properties in Argyll and the West. First, Anna enjoys a bath in a beautiful waterside home in Oban, crafted as the owners' forever residence, showcasing both innovative design and breathtaking views. The judges then relax in a vibrant Isle of Bute home, adorned with skulls, swords, and a striking wooden horse sculpture. Finally, they unwind in a glass-fronted coastal house in West Kilbride, boasting spectacular views of Arran, though Kate raises some concerns about the balcony. Each home will be rated out of ten, focusing on originality, design quality, and the love poured into them, with only one advancing to the final.
