The Great Barrier Reef, extending along the northeastern coast of Australia, is so vast that it can be seen from outer space. Comprising around 3,000 separate reefs and nearly 900 islands, this incredible ecosystem is larger than the combined area of the United Kingdom, Holland, and Switzerland. As a remarkable living structure, it holds immense importance to the planet and is recognized as one of the seven natural wonders of the world.
