Episode Overview
While cleaning out his shed, Hardcastle stumbles upon an old trophy belonging to his college roommate, Teddy Hendrix. Intrigued, he decides to pay Teddy a visit, only to walk into the middle of an attempted kidnapping. Unfortunately, Teddy escapes before Hardcastle can confront him. Seeking answers, Hardcastle speaks with Teddy's wife, Fran, who reveals that Teddy has been in conflict with a man named Roy Barlow. Teddy confides in Hardcastle about his involvement in fixing basketball games and agrees to come clean. Hardcastle sets up a meeting with the district attorney, but Fran, secretly allied with Barlow, tricks her husband into a dangerous situation. Meanwhile, Fran also helps Barlow capture Hardcastle. Luckily, Mark and their former basketball teammates come to the rescue, saving both Hardcastle and Teddy while also apprehending Fran and Barlow.
