Episode Overview
On the evening of October 7, 1965, a genuine UFO Military Alert was triggered at Edwards Air Force Base in California, involving other bases like Norton, George, Hamilton, and March, alongside NORAD and the Los Angeles Air Defense Sector (LAADS). An F-106 Delta Dart Interceptor was dispatched to investigate 12 glowing UFOs, which were advanced solid craft seemingly under intelligent control, easily outpacing the interceptor at an altitude of 40,000 feet. Declassified control tower recordings confirm this incident, with Sgt. Chuck Sorrels manning the tower that night. The audio shows LAADS requesting that the UFO Officer at Edwards be awakened to evaluate the situation. The mysterious objects were detected on radar at multiple locations, including Edwards, San Pedro, and George AFB, with visual sightings reported at various spots. The team interviews Sgt.
