Rachel decides to let her sister, Amy, babysit Emma, despite Ross's fierce objections, only to quickly realize it was a mistake. Meanwhile, Joey takes it upon himself to draft a recommendation letter for Monica and Chandler's adoption process, but worries he might not come across as intelligent enough. Additionally, Phoebe unintentionally ruins Mike's plan for a romantic surprise to celebrate their anniversary.
