Phoebe starts a romantic relationship with a sous-chef employed by Monica, but their connection quickly becomes uncomfortable when it doesn’t pan out. In another storyline, Ross learns that Chandler's colleague has mistakenly referred to him as Toby for five years. Meanwhile, Joey arranges a date for Rachel with one of his acting peers, which unnerves Ross when he contemplates the possibility of this man becoming a stepfather to his and Rachel’s child.
