Episode Overview
Maya is inspired by the success of the new Miss Pretty column and decides to write her own piece about it. Finch reveals that the new Miss Pretty is actually a man, but Maya believes this twist will enhance her article and insists on meeting him. Unbeknownst to her, Finch is the one behind the Miss Pretty persona, and he’s desperate to keep this a secret. To divert attention, he hires con artist Kurt to impersonate Miss Pretty, leading to complications when Maya develops feelings for him. Meanwhile, Nina finds herself stuck in an unwanted friendship with someone she dislikes, while Elliott and Jack face backlash after unintentionally offending an Asian-American executive from a key advertising client.
