Episode Overview

Title: The Mystery of the Disillusioned Comedian Plot: Charles Goff, an advertising executive, made a deal with comedian Danny Ross, vowing to help him secure a new show in exchange for an introduction to a powerful advertiser's president. Although Danny fulfills his side of the bargain, he discovers from Goff's assistant that Goff managed to finalize the deal without him. The following morning, Charles is discovered deceased in his office, and suspicion falls on Danny's friend, Freddie Green, who is charged with the murder.
