Episode Overview

Title: The Case of the Golfer's Gambit Plot: Chick Farley, a lackluster golf pro at an upscale country club, relies on his wife's finances and occasionally resorts to blackmailing club members to sustain his lifestyle. One evening, Chick uncovers a theft at the pro shop and promptly contacts member Hamilton Burger to report the incident. During the call, an assailant strikes him with a sand wedge, fatally injuring Chick. While he may not have been a beloved figure, an innocent person is soon wrongfully accused of the crime, leading to a tangled investigation.
