Episode Overview
In San Francisco, Kimble narrowly escapes being hit by a car driven by Ruth Norton, a distressed flight attendant who has just learned that her boyfriend of four months is married with children. While in the hospital recovering, Kimble experiences a feverish recollection of events leading up to his wife Helen's murder and the sighting of the one-armed man fleeing his home. After his trial and subsequent escape from a train wreck, Ruth, who has been keeping vigil at his side, hears him whisper Helen's name. Concerned for his safety, she takes Kimble, now using the name George Browning, to her home to recuperate. There, he offers her insights on her troubled relationship with Paul and encourages her to reassess her life.
