Episode Overview
Dr. Richard Kimble encounters Willie Turner, a young man with a mental disability who stands accused of injuring a child. Hesitant but compassionate, Kimble hides Willie at a carnival where he is now employed. He attempts to convince Willie to go back to the hospital where his sister had him committed, but Willie struggles to grasp his intentions and does not recall the incident in question. When Willie's sister, Mary, and a hospital attendant come searching for him, the attendant identifies Kimble and alerts the authorities. In a bid to defend his friend, Willie injures the attendant, prompting both men to flee in a stolen truck. They take refuge in a nearby junkyard as the sheriff and his team close in on their location, with Kimble continuing to urge Willie to return to safety.
