Peabody's Improbable History (1959)
Overview
Peabody, an exceptionally intelligent dog, has achieved remarkable feats throughout his life, including being a business tycoon, inventor, scientist, Nobel Prize winner, food enthusiast, and even a two-time Olympic medalist. Despite his numerous accomplishments, Peabody feels a sense of sadness and isolation, prompting him to seek companionship by adopting a human child. In an alleyway, he encounters Sherman, a bespectacled boy with striking red hair, and after rescuing him from some bullies, Peabody learns that Sherman is an orphan. Touched by his situation, Peabody decides to make Sherman his son.
