TV transmissions are interrupted when Peridot sends out a video signal from a Gem communication tower. In response, Garnet decides to fuse with Pearl to form Sardonyx and eliminate the threat, leaving Amethyst feeling upset. As the tower is repaired, Steven and Amethyst are taken by surprise when they uncover the true mastermind behind the disruption.
