After Mather, the head of the Chicago Adventure Society, claims that Roland fabricated the tale of the expedition that launched his career, Jack, Brooke, and the millennials join forces to defend him. Meanwhile, Clark is taken aback as he realizes that Jack is vying for Mather’s validation in the same manner that he craves Jack’s approval.
