The Hammersley comes to the aid of sailors from a distressed vessel, only to discover they are diamond smugglers willing to go to extreme lengths to protect their illicit cargo. Swain gets captured by the smugglers and finds himself trapped aboard their sinking ship. Will Buffer manage to save him before the vessel goes under? Meanwhile, Mike faces criticism from Navy superiors regarding his fixation on the enigma surrounding Bright Island.
