Jake and Amanda decide to withdraw their support from Reed's business after Jake uncovers some discrepancies in his story, but Jo accuses him of being envious. While Jo dozes on the boat, Reed picks up a shipment of drugs. When Jo later finds the drugs hidden below deck, Reed violently kidnaps her. Meanwhile, Sydney overhears a dazed Michael mumbling about his plea for Matt to alter his blood alcohol results, prompting her to devise a blackmail plan. Frustrated with being unable to reach Billy, Alison surprises him with a visit to New York, only to be shocked to see him enjoying drinks with another woman. After coming out, Jeffrey is relocated to the east coast.
