Michael manages to pull through after the hit-and-run but is left with amnesia. Jane is freed after she presents evidence that points the finger at Sydney. Kimberly initially offers to act as Sydney's alibi but later betrays her by leaving a blonde wig in her apartment, leading to Sydney's arrest. Meanwhile, Billy pieces together Mrs. Parker's unsettling hints about Mr. Parker's abuse towards his daughters and heads to San Francisco to find Alison. When Mr. Parker confronts Alison, Meredith intervenes with a gun, but he escapes just as Billy bursts in. Billy is furious when Alison opts to follow Amanda's suggestion to press charges against her father instead of eloping in Las Vegas. Jake breaks things off with Amanda and chooses to spend time on his boat, where he meets Brittany, a woman who leapt overboard to escape her violent husband.
