Zack persuades Alison to splurge on an expensive new car and skip work. During Thanksgiving dinner, Billy and Susan confront her, but she responds with anger and storms out. In a drunken state, Alison attempts to drive to Zack's party, distracted by her phone, and ends up colliding with a boy on a bicycle. Meanwhile, Kimberly investigates various options for motherhood, some of which are questionable. She invites Jo for Thanksgiving, convincing her to fake a miscarriage and keep her baby hidden from the Carters. Jake faces harassment from a mobster's associates, while Sydney learns that Jake could be seriously injured unless she agrees to sleep with the mobster’s friend, Chris. Amanda divulges sensitive details about Bruce's health as Peter plots a takeover. Matt and Jeffrey decide to skip Thanksgiving dinner after Matt's parents pressure them to conceal the truth about their relationship.
