Kimberly is devastated when she receives divorce papers, even though they had been filed months earlier, prior to her reconciliation with Michael. In an effort to mend things, Michael proposes they host a real wedding at the beach house to renew their vows. At Kimberly's insistence, Michael fires Sydney, who retaliates by suing both him and Peter for sexual harassment, leading them to appoint her as office manager. To deflect Alycia's suspicions, Peter claims his father was ruined by the Parezis. They scheme to tarnish Bobby's reputation by making it look like he’s bribing a senator.
