Jack is still unconscious in a coma. Meanwhile, a panicked Amanda drinks heavily at the Halloween party at Shooters and ends up sleeping with Peter. When Jack finally awakens, he fakes an apology to Amanda before attempting to strangle her. Amanda slaps him, accidentally dislodging his breathing tube, and Sydney witnesses the whole chaotic scene. Richard invites Jo to join him and Jane for a photo shoot in Hawaii, but then has Jane called away. Jane tricks Jake into thinking Jo is unfaithful. Although Jo initially declines the trip after learning of Richard's true motives, she later catches a drunk Jake kissing Shelly at Shooters.
