Episode Overview
During a heated dispute with Michael, Kimberly collapses and discovers she has an aneurysm but is adamant about refusing surgery. Meanwhile, Megan, who has just started as the receptionist at Burns/Mancini, attempts to use company funds to hire a private nurse. Michael, doubting Kimberly's condition, arrives at the beach house to find her in critical condition and urges her mother to come to Los Angeles. Matt struggles to locate Chelsea, who eventually checks into a halfway house. Samantha persuades Chelsea to come back home by sharing her own past as a runaway. Matt offers Chelsea a place to stay, but his mother disapproves due to his sexuality. After a date with Billy, Sam returns to find her father has been released from prison. Sydney meets Hilda's dubious lawyer, Harry Dean, and starts to suspect that Hilda is not being truthful about her injuries. Jake is frustrated when Alison ignores her doctor's advice and returns to work for a presentation.
