Megan is consumed by guilt over Lexi's situation and persuades Brett to marry her. She feels betrayed when she discovers they have to live alone together, especially as Lexi starts developing feelings for Brett. Meanwhile, Michael pushes back against Taylor's efforts to make him a responsible dad but begins to change after helping deliver a baby on the roadside. Peter sets his sights on Amanda, who is now married to Kyle, but the "newlyweds" struggle to find time for each other. Billy moves in with Jennifer, and a furious Samantha tries to manipulate Jeff to get under Billy’s skin. She demands Amanda choose between her and Billy, but soon realizes the decision won't favor her.
