Fishbone, a down-on-his-luck alcoholic, laments his lack of friends, only to realize he has more than he thought when a homeless man snatches his wallet and subsequently dies in a car crash. Mistakenly believing that Fishbone was the one who perished, his acquaintances gather to hold a wake in his honor.
