Episode Overview

Matt and Amy head out to shop for new furniture for their deck, but they have different ideas about what to choose. Without discussing it with Amy, Matt impulsively purchases a new grill. He later tells the family that the new deck fails to meet building codes due to its low railing. Meanwhile, Jeremy kicks off the school year with a detention, which prompts him to change up his hairstyle. Matt focuses on getting the deck up to code to obtain the necessary inspection permit.
