Because of Vicki's poor choice of words, Child Services Officer Mrs. Fernwald becomes convinced that Ted is struggling with alcoholism. She warns Vicki that if Ted doesn't enroll in Alcoholics Anonymous, she will have no choice but to remove Vicki from his custody.
