Episode Overview

After apprehending a teenager who has been unfairly blamed for a murder by his gang associates, Hooker learns that the boy is hearing impaired. Believing in the youth's innocence and seeing his gang involvement as a desperate plea for assistance, Hooker and Romano work to address the teen's hearing issues while also seeking to uncover the true perpetrators of the drug-related crime. However, Hooker realizes that she can only assist the teenager if he is ready to take the first step towards helping himself.
