Episode Overview

Hooker, undercover in a Santa costume, struggles to embrace the holiday spirit, feeling the weight of his first Christmas apart from Fran and the kids. Meanwhile, Stacy is also feeling down after her recent breakup. Their holiday gloom intensifies when a drug bust goes awry, allowing the primary suspect to escape. Later, Stacy witnesses a robbery involving a man and woman linked to the dealer; in the chaos, the woman is forced to leave her infant at a nearby church. As they pursue leads on the criminals, Stacy takes care of the baby, prompting concern from Hooker, Corrigan, and Romano that she may be growing too attached and reluctant to let go.
