T. J. Hooker (1982)

Episode Overview

While patrolling the streets, Corrigan and Stacy pull over a speeding vehicle, but the occupants respond by opening fire with automatic weapons, leaving Corrigan severely injured. Hooker and Romano arrive at the scene, where the assailants—a female convicted murderer and her two accomplices—have taken refuge in a nearby church, holding both Corrigan and Stacy as hostages. With SWAT teams surrounding the church, Hooker faces the challenging task of negotiating with the armed criminals, who are demanding safe passage to Mexico, while also trying to convince the priest, also held captive, to remain calm despite his strong beliefs.
