T. J. Hooker (1982)
S04E09 The Confession
Episode Overview
In the wake of a series of violent muggings targeting women at ATMs, Hooker discovers that the most recent victim is Beth Harrison, an Episcopal priest and a familiar face from his past. Despite her fear, Beth agrees to testify when Hooker and his team capture the suspect. However, the attacker cleverly seeks her out at church to confess to the crime, putting Beth in a difficult position as she clings to her sacred vow of silence regarding confessions. Hooker urges her to reconsider and testify, warning that if she remains silent, the rapist could escape justice and harm others again.
