While chasing down a criminal, Hooker crosses paths once more with Officer Karen Remy, a former love. Tragically, he soon receives the devastating news that Karen has been shot dead in her car. With evidence suggesting a professional hit, Hooker is hell-bent on uncovering the truth, focusing his suspicion on Karen's police partner. Ignoring orders to halt his investigation leads to Hooker’s suspension, but he remains undeterred in his quest for answers.
