After being thrown out by Connie, Shirley turns to Shangri-la for refuge. There, he encounters Lola and is instantly captivated by her allure. Dudley urges Lola to take advantage of Shirley's proposal to erase her debt in return for her affections. However, Shirley reveals himself to be untrustworthy, complicating the situation further.
