When Eric's long-lost wife, Heidi, arrives back in Niagara Falls, the muses urge Jaye to "repair what was shattered." Concerned about losing Eric, Jaye seeks assistance from her brother and attempts to disregard the muses' guidance. In her efforts to protect her relationship, she even goes so far as to eliminate anything that might invoke the muses' influence.
