Episode Overview

After Kate is let go from yet another job, Drew recommends reaching out to his neighbors for a paid housesitting opportunity. There, she encounters Scott, a charming plumber, and sparks fly between them. The couple's children are meant to be cared for by a babysitter, but when an emergency arises, Kate is left to watch them. Scott steps in to help, and the four of them begin to bond like a real family. However, when Scott opts for a night out with friends instead of staying with Kate, she panics and attempts to win him back, only to be rejected. Heartbroken, Kate faces loneliness when the Fosters return and take their kids home. Meanwhile, Drew pursues swimming to impress the enthusiastic swimmer Sharon but ends up with an ear infection, leaving him still yearning for her affection.
