Episode Overview
Kate and Drew gear up for their first date, but Drew suddenly suffers from intense stomach cramps, which he attributes to anxiety about Steve and Mimi's wedding. The pain escalates, forcing him to visit the hospital, where the doctor determines the issue is more mental than physical. Kate learns that Drew only feels unwell when their date is mentioned, leading her to suggest they take a step back to avoid further distress. Meanwhile, Lewis provides Drew with some potent painkillers from DrugCo. In a dream, Drew converses with his stomach, which reveals his subconscious fear of dating Kate is causing his illness. The stomach encourages him to relax. The next morning, Drew visits Kate, kisses her, and joyfully declares he feels great. Meanwhile, Mimi and Steve are busy with a meeting with her priest as they plan their wedding.
