Episode Overview

For their inaugural outing, Drew decides to take Kate to the planetarium where their paths first crossed during a third-grade field trip. As they share anecdotes about their most outrageous moments, Kate amusingly recounts a time she picked up a guy at the airport while donning just a trenchcoat. After Kate dozes off on the couch with her head resting on Drew’s shoulder, he worries she finds him dull and fears she might end things unless he spices up their next encounter. In a bold move, Drew arrives in just a trenchcoat, unaware that Kate is planning a surprise. Expecting something wild, he’s astonished when she takes him to a Greek restaurant to meet her visiting grandparents. Drew cleverly conceals his lack of pants until he’s hoisted by the staff during a festive dance. Kate reassures him that her nap was a sign of comfort and that she prefers to take their relationship slowly.
