Episode Overview

Drew plans to propose to Kate with a stunning $6000 engagement ring. However, Mr. Wick throws a wrench in his plans by mistakenly overspending and insisting that Drew must terminate an employee before the board meeting in just five minutes. Unable to act due to an ongoing harassment investigation, Wick puts Drew in a tough spot. He contemplates firing Mimi, but when she feels her baby kick, his conscience stops him. Frantically, he looks for someone else to let go, but his team suddenly excels in their work. As tensions rise, Wick makes everyone but Drew do push-ups, leading to grumbling and calls for Drew's own dismissal. Seizing this as a chance for Kate to pursue her dream job at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Drew faces further complications when Mimi sabotages his job prospects by spreading falsehoods to potential employers.
