As Jimmy works on his recovery, his eagerness to return to the firehouse leads him to overextend himself, creating tension among his fellow firefighters who are concerned about his determination to show he hasn't lost his skills. At the same time, Alex Taylor arrives at the firehouse, bringing along her own set of challenges.
