Episode Overview
The tragic loss of four teenagers in a devastating car accident weighs heavily on the third watch, who found themselves powerless to intervene. To cope with their grief and anger over the traumatic event, they each seek solace in different ways after their shift. Faith, Sully, and Doc find refuge in a café, while Ty, Bobby, Carlos, and Alex head to a bar, and Kim, Bosco, and Jimmy choose to go bowling. As night gives way to dawn, Faith's group encounters a young woman, Ty's group meets a young man, and Kim's group comes across a couple in love. Eventually, they all gather at the beach to light a bonfire. As the flames dance, a flashback reveals the moments leading up to the crash, showing that the newfound friends they met were the spirits of the deceased teenagers, here to convey that the accident was unavoidable and that the team isn’t at fault for their inability to save them.
