Episode Overview

Despite his colleagues' enthusiasm to nominate him for the "Paramedic of the Year" award, Doc feels disheartened as he reflects on the emptiness in his life. He partners with Kim to assist a heart attack victim, all while dealing with an aggressive woman armed with a meat cleaver. Additionally, Doc reaches out to a persistent drunkard and a teenage girl who has attempted suicide in her bathtub. Meanwhile, Faith discreetly undergoes a procedure to check if the lump in her breast is cancerous, leaving Bosco unaware as he gets paired with a jittery rookie cop. Kim, on the other hand, reluctantly seeks legal advice regarding Jimmy's custody claim for Joey.
