Episode Overview

Maritza's reckless chase after Buford causes a devastating car crash, resulting in several injuries and an explosion that critically injures Lt. Johnson and takes Alex Taylor's life. Meanwhile, Doc and Kim rise to the top of the promotion list. Overwhelmed by guilt and sorrow from Alex's death, Doc contemplates a significant career change. Maritza learns that Faith has agreed to assist Bosco in clearing Nunez by retrieving Noble's gun. She rushes to Noble's place to stop her, followed closely by Bosco and Noble. When Bosco tries to arrest Noble and Faith refuses to give up the gun, tensions escalate, leading to a standoff where three shots are fired.
